One warren to bring them all together.
Le Terrier is the public server every Naboot-flashed Nabaztag dials back to. Pair your rabbit once, configure it from anywhere, push firmware updates remotely. No cloud account on a dead company's server — just your warren.
Today… rain !
Say it from anywhere
Send a sentence from the web UI, your rabbit speaks it. Push-to-talk, scheduled briefings, surprise hellos.
Move its ears
Two motors, 16 positions each. Wiggle them to acknowledge a doorbell, raise them when a friend is online.
Five belly lights
Bottom, left, middle, right, top — each one full RGB. Slow rainbow when it rains, your accent colour the rest of the time.
Signature-gated firmware
OTA updates are signed by the Naboot project key. The rabbit refuses anything else. You stay in control.
Privacy-first mic beta
The microphone is off by default. Always-listening is opt-in, off-at-source — the mic doesn't stream until you say so. Hands-free listening is still in beta.
Home Assistant add-on available
Run a local warren straight from Home Assistant — one-click install, no VPS needed. The HA add-on lives next to the public Terrier so you can pick local-first or hosted, on your own terms.
How it works
Three plain steps
1. Flash Naboot on your Nabaztag:tag (the 2006 version, with mic + RFID).
2. Plug it in and point it at the Terrier in its setup page — it calls home and says its one-time adoption code out loud.
3. Sign up here, type the code you heard, the rabbit is yours.
First time? Flash Naboot
Naboot is the free custom firmware that lets your rabbit reach the Terrier and take signed over-the-air updates — no soldering, no JTAG, flashed from your phone in a few minutes.
